What are the Badgers chances to win the Big Ten regular season title?
The Wisconsin Badgers are currently vying for the Big Ten regular season title, looking to finish the year strong with three games remaining.
Their biggest chance to uproot the current standings comes on Saturday when they face off against the Michigan State Spartans on the road, hoping to move within a game of first place with a victory.
Currently, the Badgers are in third place with a 12-5 conference record, ranking two games behind both the Michigan State Spartans and the Michigan Wolverines, who each stand at 14-3 in conference play with three games to go.
Wisconsin has already lost to Michigan, but will have a chance to get the better of Michigan State on Saturday when the two teams face off at the Breslin Center.
With the season coming to a close, what are the Badgers chances of winning the Big Ten regular season title?
Well, FanDuel Sportsbook has simmered on Wisconsin, whose odds took a hit when Michigan beat Rutgers on Thursday to remain two games ahead of the Badgers in the conference.
Wisconsin is currently at +6000 odds to win the regular season title, ranking behind Michigan State (-310) and Michigan (+210).
That makes sense, as the Badgers would have to win each of their final three games, while Michigan lost each of its final three games and Michigan State lost two of their final three games to get the regular season title.
There’s only one situation where that can occur.
Wisconsin: beats Michigan State, Minnesota, and Penn State
Michigan State: loses to Wisconsin, loses to Iowa, beats Michigan
Michigan: loses to Maryland, loses to Illinois, loses to Michigan State
However, they can move into second place in the conference if they beat Michigan State and the Spartans lose one of their final two games.
A more realistic target would be to win the Big Ten Tournament, where the Badgers have the second-best chance, according to our weekly Reacts poll.

A majority of voters predicted that Michigan State would win the conference tournament, but the Badgers polled slightly higher than the Wolverines with the second-best chance.
Michigan does have a tough end to the schedule with three rough games, but the Big Ten Tournament should be one of the more competitive bouts overall, with Michigan, Michigan State, and Wisconsin all in the race to get the double-byes with top four seeds.
Wisconsin’s game against Michigan State on Saturday would go a long way to reaching that goal, as they must stay a game ahead of both Maryland and UCLA in the conference standings, given that the Terrapins and Bruins have the advantage over the Badgers in the head-to-head this season.
Tip-off for Saturday is set for 1:30 p.m. on CBS at the Breslin Center.
