The Badgers could be without one of their starting guards on Friday.
The Wisconsin Badgers are set to face off against the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Friday evening, with tip-off set for 6:00 p.m. at the Kohl Center.
While the Badgers are projected as 14.5-point favorites in the Border Battle, they may have to play without one of their starters, as guard Max Klesmit is questionable due to his ankle injury sustained on Monday against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.
Klesmit suffered the injury on a controversial play where Rutgers guard Emmanuel Ogbole appeared to slide underneath his feet as the guard attempted a shot after a whistle.
Here’s another look at the injury that Wisconsin’s Max Klesmit suffered after the foul on Rutgers Emmanuel Ogbole.

Klesmit was seen with a walking boot after the game on Monday and was still seen in the boot earlier this week at a team practice.
If he is unable to go, Wisconsin would likely slide sixth man Kamari McGee into the starting lineup, while backup guard Jack Janicki could earn more playing time.
The move could also free up some minutes for backup point guards Camren Hunter and Daniel Freitag, who have rarely seen the court this season.
The Badgers are still projected as healthy favorites in the Border Battle on Friday, but Klesmit’s status will be one to monitor ahead of tip-off.
