The Badgers will get their starting guard back on Tuesday evening.
The Wisconsin Badgers rotation will be back to full strength on Tuesday, as senior guard Max Klesmit is off the injury report for the matchup against the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Klesmit suffered an ankle injury in the second half against Rutgers when guard Jeremiah Williams came into his landing space on a shot after the whistle, prompting him to leave the game early and head home in a walking boot.
Remaining in that walking boot last week, Klesmit missed Friday’s game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers, but the Badgers still cruised to an 80-59 victory, with Kamari McGee stepping in well into the starting lineup.
Now, with Klesmit back in the rotation, McGee likely assumes his sixth man role, but could see more minutes if the senior guard is limited in his return.
The Badgers do have two players on the injury report, as guard Camren Hunter and center Riccardo Greppi are both out, but their entire rotation is available as they face the Buckeyes on Tuesday night, with tip-off set for 8:00 p.m.
Wisconsin is on a five-game win streak and is looking to extend that to six games against an Ohio State team that is 10-6 on the season and 2-3 in conference play.
Recently ranked No. 24 in the AP Poll, they should receive a boost, especially on the defensive end, with Klesmit back in the lineup on Tuesday.
