The Badgers are coming off a 28-13 loss to the Penn State Nittany Lions in a close game that slowly drifted away from Wisconsin in the fourth quarter, dropping them to 5-3 on the year.
Now, they’ll set their attention to the Iowa Hawkeyes, who are coming off a 40-14 blowout against the Northwestern Wildcats this past weekend. They have the same record as the Badgers, standing at 5-3 overall and 3-2 in the conference.
It’ll be a big game for Wisconsin this weekend, as they get another primetime outing after playing at 6:30 p.m. against Penn State, only this time it’ll be at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City.
It’s the third night game of the year for Wisconsin, who also had a late kickoff in their season opener against Western Michigan, and this one will be a big contest for the Badgers, as they look to prove themselves against a tough opponent who has had their number recently with two consecutive wins.
Iowa has seen some ups and downs this year, losing a 32-20 game to the Michigan State Spartans, while blowing out Minnesota, Washington, and Northwestern during their conference slate.
