The Badgers saw one of the defensive linemen on their board commit elsewhere on Tuesday.
The Wisconsin Badgers faced some unfortunate news on Tuesday, as 2025 three-star defensive lineman Drayden Pavey announced his commitment to Purdue.

Pavey, a native of Ohio, had a final three of Wisconsin, Purdue, and Indiana, where he ultimately took official visits before settling on the Boilermakers.
A 6’3, 305-pound lineman, Pavey would’ve been a nice addition along the interior, and had been a late target for the Badgers, who offered him back in April before quickly setting up an official visit.
Pavey drew the attention of defensive line coach E.J. Whitlow, but it wasn’t enough to secure a commitment from the Ohio native eventually.
Currently, the Badgers have two defensive linemen in their 2025 class: Torin Pettaway and Wilnerson Telemaque.
While they’ve looked to add a third player to the group, it doesn’t seem like that’ll happen with their official visitor board.
Overall, Wisconsin has 22 commits in their 2025 class.
