The Badgers have a number of NFL All-Pros this season.
The Wisconsin Badgers have been known to put quality linebackers in the NFL, both on and off the ball, and that was seen across the board in 2024.
Three former linebackers were named AP-All Pros in 2024, with two earning the recognition after making a move to a new team this offseason.
Zack Baun and Andrew Van Ginkel were named to the AP All-Pro teams for the first time for the Philadelphia Eagles and Minnesota Vikings, respectively, after stellar seasons with their new teams.
Baun had a breakout season while playing as more of an inside linebacker, recording 151 tackles, 15 stuffs, 11 tackles for loss, five forced fumbles, 3.5 sacks, and an interception for the Eagles.
He was named to the All-Pro first team alongside Fred Warner and Roquan Smith of the San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens, respectively.
Van Ginkel had a stellar season working under Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores, as he recorded 79 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, 11.5 sacks, six pass breakups, two interceptions, and two defensive touchdowns.
Then, of course, came T.J. Watt, who still managed to earn an All-Pro nod despite working through some injuries. Watt recorded 61 tackles, 19 tackles for loss, 11.5 sacks, a league-high six forced fumbles, and four pass breakups in another strong season for the Steelers star.
It was a good year for Badgers linebackers in the NFL, as three players earned All-Pro honors for their various teams. All three will get a chance to compete in the playoffs, with the Steelers taking on the Ravens on Saturday, the Eagles hosting the Packers on Sunday, and the Vikings taking on the Rams on Monday night.
