FIFTY NATIONALLY TELEVISED GAMES, including the Ohio Valley Conference handing out their automatic bid to the men’s tournament
FIFTY GAMES. There are FIFTY college basketball games on national television today.
Things are helped along by women’s basketball conference tournament games, including quarterfinals in the Big East and semifinals in the A-10, ACC, SEC, and Big Ten. As I type this on Friday night, not all of these games are set in stone yet. I’ll update the table down below as needed on Saturday morning.
Nearly half of the games on TV today include at least one nationally ranked team. Six of them have two ranked teams squaring off against each other, so that’s pretty great. Might be seven or eight, depending on what team ends up facing #4 UCLA in the Big Ten women’s semifinals or #1 Texas in the SEC women’s semifinals.
There’s some men’s tournament action going on today as well. CBS Sports Network will bring you semifinal action in both the Missouri Valley Conference and the Summit League. On top of that, the men’s NCAA bracket will get its first official entrant today when the Ohio Valley crowns their champion.
As always, there’s a bunch of games that are on streaming only, including a ranked vs ranked women’s game in the Big 12 and all sorts of conference tournament action. If you catch something great, shout it out in the comments so everyone can tune in!
Here’s the full national television schedule for the day, with all times Central, as always.
