The Marquette men are off this weekend, which gives you a lot of free time to explore what else is on TV.
Yes, the biggest game of the day comes up at you at 3pm Central time when we get a BASKETBALL IRON BOWL between #1 Auburn and #2 Alabama, with the Crimson Tide playing host.
But there’s a total of FORTY-FOUR games on national television today. Four of them are women’s games, highlighted by #24 Creighton hosting Georgetown on FS1. I suspect the ratings on that one might be hurt by that #1 vs #2 game. Sorry/not sorry.
There are 13 more men’s basketball games featuring at least one ranked team in action on national TV today. Eight of those have a ranked team on the road. Three are ranked vs ranked games: #16 Wisconsin at #7 Purdue, #6 Houston at #13 Arizona, and #22 Mississippi State at #19 Ole Miss.
busy busy busy
As always, there’s a ton of stuff available on streaming only. #12 Texas Tech is on the road on the men’s side of things, and there are FOUR Big 12 women’s games with a ranked team on one side or the other. There’s also Marquette men’s lacrosse visiting #1 Notre Dame at 11am Central on ACC Network Extra, and if you’re a FloSports sicko, you can catch Marquette women’s basketball hosting DePaul. Or, if you’re in town, swing on by the McGuire Center at 2pm Central, good seats still available. I’ll be there.
Here’s the full national television schedule for the day, with all times Central, as always.
