It’s a pretty big day for college hoops, both in pure volume of games as well as high profile games.
WHO’S READY FOR 37 COLLEGE BASKETBALL GAMES ON NATIONAL TELEVISION??!?
You should have stocked up on snacks already, because there’s all kinds of hoops to be watched today. 15 of the 37 games with a national broadcast today have at least one ranked team participating, and FOUR of them have two ranked teams squaring off.
We get started bright and early in Ranked Teams Battle, as #21 Michigan State visits #24 Michigan in the best of the three women’s games with a big spot today. Things stack up pretty quick in the evening with #16 Ole Miss at #22 Missouri at 5pm, #7 Houston at #12 Kansas at 5:30pm and, in the game of the day, #6 Tennessee at #1 Auburn at 7:30pm.
Outside of those games, there are NINE games with a ranked team visiting an unranked team. I’m not going to rattle them all off, but Big East peeps are definitely going to want to check out #6 UConn visiting Creighton on Fox at 4:30pm. The last two unbeatens in the Big East are colliding, and it might just be the last serious challenge to Paige Bueckers and the Huskies going undefeated in conference play this season.
There’s a bunch of stuff that’s streaming only, including a pair of ranked Big 12 women’s teams on the road and a ranked Big 12 men’s team on the road as well, so if you catch something that’s particularly great, shout it out in the comments so everyone can tune in!
Here’s the full national television schedule for the day, with all times Central, as always.
