The Big East television schedule release is mostly FloSports except for 2 home games on FS1 and the regular season finale on Fox….. against UConn.
The Big East announced the broadcast schedule for women’s basketball on Friday, and YOUR Marquette Golden Eagles are on the national television slate for three of the 15 regular season games that Fox Sports will carry in 2024-25.
Two of Marquette’s home games in Big East play will be on FS1 this coming season. That’s January 4th against Butler and January 15th against Seton Hall. Do I wish they were road games so more people could watch MU when they hit the road instead of needing to subscribe to FloSports? Yes, but I’m also not in charge here.
Marquette’s third nationally televised game will come in the regular season finale as the Golden Eagles head out east to face UConn. That one will be on Big Fancy Broadcast Fox on March 2nd. It’s probably not going to be a great showing for the Golden Eagles given that the only thing slowing the Huskies down from national championship contention this year will be a third straight injury plagued campaign, but hey: National TV is National TV, right?
The only other time that Marquette will play either at home in general or at all in Big East action and not be on FloSports is the New Year’s Day home game against UConn. That contest will be picked up by SNY, and there’s the usual “as long as you have a cable log in, you can watch on the Fox Sports app” bit for that arrangement.
We’re still waiting on start times and broadcast information for Marquette’s five games in non-conference action that aren’t at the McGuire Center. UCF and Bowling Green will have ESPN contracts to figure out their arrangements, while Illinois and Rutgers are tied to Fox and the Big Ten Network. There’s also the Maryland Eastern Shore game at Rutgers, but I’m not holding out a lot of hope on getting a streaming feed of any kind for that one, much less one on B1G+.
Here’s the full schedule with start times and broadcast information as it stands right now.
