Adrien Stevens, a four-star in the class of 2025, has committed to Marquette, he told ZAGSBLOG on Tuesday.
The 6-foot-5 guard chose the Golden Eagles over Villanova and Georgetown.
“I’m choosing them because of the effort they have made in building a meaningful relationship with my family and I,” Stevens told ZAGSBLOG. “They showed me a plan for me that makes sense, one that I can see playing out. They have made it clear they want me there to help them win and that’s what I want, to go to a program I can help win.”
Stevens joins four-star point guard Nigel James, four-star small forward Ian Miletic, and three-star small forward Michael Phillips in Marquette’s 2025 recruiting class.
In terms of skillset, Stevens will bring a winning mindset to Milwaukee, with a focus on doing the little things and making impact plays.
“I will bring a winning mindset to the court, that means making plays that above all other things, contribute to winning,” he said. “Whether that’s guarding the other teams best player, or diving on the floor for loose balls, trying to get every rebound, doing the things I can control and the other things will come along with that, just bringing a winning mindset to the game.”
