Tracking the larger sentiments of Bucks fans week by week
The many injuries the Milwaukee Bucks have had to deal with so far this season has given real opportunities to see what the Bucks have in their young guys. Doc Rivers raved about them all at Media Day, AJ Green in particular, but you figured at the time it’s coach speak, and with the number of veterans on the roster, those guys wouldn’t get much run. With Doc’s previous reputation of not playing the young guys, it made a lot of sense.
However this year, we have seen a big change in that regard, with Rivers using Andre Jackson Jr., AJ Green, and Ryan Rollins (before he was recently injured) a lot more than expected. That change has somewhat fueled this early turnaround for the Bucks, who are 3-1 since starting the season 2-8 (should be 4-0, but a certain missed call in Charlotte against the Hornets prevented that).
In this week’s Tuesday Tracker, we take your temperature on worries about Giannis playing so much so early, where you think Andre Jackson Jr. and AJ Green will fit in a potential playoff rotation, and what should happen with Bobby Portis. Then, with the hullabaloo of the officiating this past week, we ask if you want the replay system changed in any way.
As always, this poll will be open until midnight Central on Friday, and we’ll post the results later that day. Thanks for voting!
