Tracking the larger sentiments of Bucks fans week by week
Now a game above .500 after a 2-8 start, the Milwaukee Bucks can make it nine wins in their last ten games with a victory in Detroit tonight, also netting them an NBA Cup berth. Even 2-8 and 8-2 would be a remarkable turnaround and something of a Jekyll and Hyde start to the year. They end up with a 9-5 record in November; a successful month for any team, regardless of opponent quality.
Three weeks ago in this space, I asked fans how they thought the Bucks would finish out the month. This came immediately after the Boston loss which dropped them to 2-8. I laid out the slate of opponents between then and now, pointing out that only Houston had a winning record, which remains the case (though Miami had a .500 record when they played Milwaukee). Still, only 12% thought the Bucks would finish 7-2 or better in those remaining nine games. 49% thought they would go 5-4 or 4-5, and 19% felt they would go 3-6. The Bucks went 8-1.
In this week’s Tuesday Tracker, we ask you how long this hot streak will keep up, how Damian Lillard is doing in his second year as a Buck, and Brook Lopez’s future with the team. We also want to know what you think about the volume of threes Milwaukee is getting up.
As always, this poll will be open until midnight Central on Friday, and we’ll post the results later that day. Thanks for voting!
