Tracking the larger sentiments of Bucks fans week by week
Obviously, there’s not much good to talk about regarding the Bucks so far in 2024–25. Even the most pessimistic, doomsday Bucks fans probably didn’t see a 1-6 start out of the gates. I’m encouraged by the heart the team showed against Cleveland, particularly last night without Giannis, but they still need to translate that into wins.
If you ask me, there are individual players who are holding them back more than schematic issues. I’m not ready to declare the offense and defense installed by this staff failures yet, both after seven games and with a team missing a key cog. However, I’m more than ready to call out specific problems certain players are causing with their lack of or misplaced efforts. See the below thread and video for an example.
I’ve been critical of Portis a lot lately, but to expound on it: his effort level is usually bad or misplaced (i.e. batting the ball around instead of securing the rebound). This was during the few minutes in the mid-4th last night where the Bucks let their 7-point lead slip. pic.twitter.com/retc0necE1

In this week’s Tuesday Tracker, we’re going to find out how the Bucks’ start has affected where you think they’ll end up at the end of the regular season. Then we cut right to the chase with pressing questions about Bobby Portis, Khris Middleton, Gary Trent Jr., and the vets.
As always, this poll will be open until midnight Central on Friday, and we’ll post the results later that day. Thanks for voting!”
