Middleton has been working to return following surgery on both ankles. The word that’s been used to describe this all has been a process. It’s what Doc Rivers has used countless times any time he’s been asked about it.
Despite being medically cleared, Middleton hasn’t been rushing his return. He recently has been participating in five-on-five, which has been a big step forward. Now, the Bucks finally get a pillar of their franchise back on the court.
Surely, there will be a minutes restriction and that will be covered accordingly by Bucks media. This is something that Doc Rivers and his coaching staff will be cautious about, ensuring Middleton has a smooth return to the floor.
However, this is fantastic news for a Bucks team that’s rebounding after an uneventful start to the season.
