Delay comes after Bucks delayed at New Orleans airport due to snow
To accommodate their delayed flight out of New Orleans, the Milwaukee Bucks have delayed their game against the Miami Heat by one hour to a 7:30 tip-off time at Fiserv Forum, according to Justin Garcia of Locked on Bucks.

The Bucks were originally supposed to be in Milwaukee already. Eric Nehm of The Athletic reported that the team had a flight out at 2:00 PM and would arrive home around 4:00 PM. They were able to leave New Orleans, but according to our own Van Fayaz, the plane they were to board was delayed in leaving Atlanta for the NOLA connection. That series of logistical delays now means the game will be pushed back an hour. If they had kept to the original schedule the Bucks would’ve had merely 90 minutes between landing and playing an honest-to-goodness NBA regular season game.
Guarantee you this is the Bucks’ inbound aircraft, and it’s delayed leaving Atlanta. Scheduled to arrive when the Bucks were previously scheduled to depart.
Their flight to Mitchell is scheduled to arrive at 5:03 for a 6:30 tip at Fiserv. Making them play is nuts.

It has been a strange couple of days for the Bucks since their trip to the Bayou. They were scheduled to play the Pelicans yesterday, but that game was postponed until further notice due to “once in a lifetime” snowfall blanketing New Orleans and related safety concerns. The same was true of the practice they had planned to hold on Tuesday at Tulane University, which they had to cancel due to the record accumulation. That very same storm caused Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport to shut down all operations on Tuesday and left the airport closed all day Wednesday. It wasn’t until this afternoon that they resumed flight operations.
We will continue to keep you updated as the situation continues to evolve and if there are any more delays.
