Looks like the summer workout paid off for Davis
The Milwaukee Bucks are adding one more player to the training camp roster while out at the University of California-Irvine. After working out with the team in August, the Bucks are signing former second-round pick Terence Davis to an Exhibit 10 contract, according to Eric Nehm of The Athletic:

Davis didn’t see a single minute of NBA action in 2023-2024 and played in just three games in the G-League for the Rip City Remix (affiliate for the Portland Trail Blazers). In those outings, Davis put up 21.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.0 steals per game, while shooting 43.8% from three-point range and 49% from the field. Unfortunately, he suffered a ruptured Achilles in mid-January 2024 that cut his year short. He is now in the latter stages of his comeback from that injury.
The last time we saw Davis on an NBA court was during the 2022-2023 season with the Sacramento Kings: he played the second-most games in his career (64), but also put up his worst scoring season of his four-year career (6.7 points) alongside the worst shooting season of his career from the floor overall (.423). The Kings opted to not bring him back after David played out the two-year deal given him in 2021.
An Exhibit 10 deal is a non-guaranteed contract that allows a team to bring a player to training camp. It also gives that team said player’s G-League rights and the player a slight cash bonus if they log enough appearances with their G-League affiliate that season. Normally, this contract allows a team to convert a player into a two-way deal, but Davis has four years of NBA service and he is no longer eligible for a two-way deal. Given that and his ongoing recovery from the Achilles injury, assume that Davis is being briefly added to the larger roster with an eye to a role with the Wisconsin Herd and, should everything go really well for him, potentially a late-season shot with the Bucks.
With all that said, welcome to Milwaukee, Terence!
