Damian Lillard is already drawing interest from a prominent female rapper only months after filing for divorce.
Rapper GloRilla posted a photo of herself with Lillard at All-Star Weekend on social media and sent a message to any potential competition for the Milwaukee Bucks star.
“Whoever she is can’t whoop me so I really dgaf,” GloRilla wrote.
GloRilla, 24, whose real name is Gloria Hallelujah Woods, hails from Memphis and broke out musically two years ago. She was nominated for a Grammy for her song “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” (with Hitkidd) and her song “Tomorrow 2” with Cardi B reached the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100.
Lillard, 33, who was participating in his eighth All-Star Game Sunday night, officially filed for divorce from his wife Kay’La back in October, citing “irreconcilable differences” that caused the “irremediable breakdown of their marriage.”
The pair were married in 2021 but had reportedly been living in separate homes for nearly a year before divorce proceedings began just after Lillard was traded from Portland to the Bucks.
Lillard and Kay’ La were college sweethearts at Weber State. Together, they have a son Damian Jr., 5, and 3-year-old twins, daughter Kali and son Kalii.
[I did] stuff that wouldn’t make me feel overwhelmed. It can be because we all got feelings,” Lillard told Yahoo Sports recently. “We all have stuff we really care about, near and dear to our heart. I’m happy I’m a stable person, I got solid people around me.
“It’s probably been the hardest transition in my life, all things considered.”
On the court, Lillard won his second straight Three-Point Contest on Saturday night and was named MVP of the All-Star Game on Sunday, logging 39 points and 11 three-pointers in the Eastern Conference’s 211-186 victory over the West.
