Milwaukee Bucks guard Patrick Beverley had himself a very eventful Thursday night.
During the late stages of the Bucks-Pacers game, Beverley chucked a basketball at fans sitting behind Milwaukee’s bench. His aggressive behavior carried over to his postgame media availability.
Before answering a question from a reporter, Beverley turned his attention to ESPN producer Malinda Adams and asked her, “Do you subscribe to my pod?”
Adams quickly replied, “Do I subscribe to your pod? I do not.”
Beverley then said, “You can’t interview me then. No disrespect.” Unfortunately, he didn’t stop there. He then asked for Adams to get her microphone away from him.
“Can you move that mic and get out of the circle for me please, mam? If you’re not subscribed to my pod? Thank you, I appreciate that.”
This entire exchange was caught on camera. It’s a really bad look for Beverley.

Believe it or not, this requirement to speak to Beverley is nothing new, according to Jack Maloney of CBS.
“This is unfortunately nothing new Beverley has refused to talk to any of us in Milwaukee who do not subscribe to his podcast since he arrived at the trade deadline,” Maloney said.
That doesn’t excuse Beverley being rude to reporters. Hopefully, he’ll change his ways moving forward.
