Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo made an interesting confession to the media during NBA ALl-Star Weekend.
Antetokounmpo said he doesn’t watch any basketball during the season and likes going into a game where he doesn’t know who he’s playing.
“I just, in general, do not watch basketball. I love when I go to the game and I have no idea who I’m playing or what they do,” Antetokounmpo said.
Antetokounmpo probably watches film when he’s with his teammates but when it comes to his free time, he may just like doing other things.
Even though he doesn’t watch other games, he’s still been one of the best players in the NBA this season, averaging 30.8 points and 11 rebounds per game. Those numbers have helped the Bucks have a 35-21 record through 56 games, which is good for third in the Eastern Conference.
They’re two and a half games out of second in the conference and eight and a half back of first.
Their next game will be on Friday on the road against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Bucks have lost two in a row heading into this contest.
Tip-off will be at 10 p.m. ET.
