Maybe there can be something to be happy about.
There isn’t any sugarcoating things; everything sucks. The Milwaukee Bucks have lost six games in a row, and the country is continuing its descent toward darkness. Everything is bleak, but it would be nice if the Bucks could win against the Utah Jazz tonight.
Where We’re At
Ok, yes, I was very pessimistic. The Bucks have lost six straight, and we have a variety of ways this team has lost. Some games were blowouts, some falling apart in the second half, and others having close battles where they fell short. If there is any glimmer of positivity, it’s that the Bucks were in close contests with the Cleveland Cavaliers in the last two games, with one without Giannis Antetokounmpo. If Milwaukee can learn and build from the previous two games or their loss to the Boston Celtics, then Bucks fans might be treated to a win.
The Utah Jazz are not having a successful season either, but most people expected that. Utah started the season losing their first six games before they beat the Chicago Bulls on Monday. This team has little to no star power and will lean on youth for its rebuild. It will be a seller at the trade deadline. The Jazz have some young players; seeing where they go from here will be interesting. Some, like John Collins or Collin Sexton, could be on the trading block for contenders as they continue a rebuild.
Injury Report
Milwaukee will not be with Khris Middleton again, who is close but not ready. AJ Johnson and Chris Livingston will be on G-League assignments. Giannis Antetokounmpo is listed as questionable with a right adductor strain.
Utah will not have Micah Potter and Jason Preston, who will both be on G-League assignments. Jordan Clarkson, Isiah Collier, and Lauri Markkanen are questionable. Collin Sexton is available for tonight.
Player To Watch
Andre Jackson Jr. has gotten more rotational minutes lately and could be in line to continue getting opportunities. AJax’s athleticism is something Milwaukee desperately needs, and though he isn’t filling up the box score, he might find a role in handling the dirty work that the Bucks need, especially on the defensive end.

Sources: Milwaukee Bucks expected to make a change by inserting high-flying Andre Jackson Jr. into the starting lineup in place of Gary Trent Jr. for tonight’s game against the Utah Jazz. pic.twitter.com/SIe2ct9hYg
