Yeah no, this game will happen
Mike Budenholzer returns to Milwaukee for the first time since leaving the Bucks in 2023, as the Phoenix Suns face the Milwaukee Bucks. These two teams played last week, with the Suns winning 108-106 thanks to a game-winning shot from Devin Booker.
Where We’re At
The vibes are bad surrounding the Bucks. Damian Lillard’s loss and recent deflating losses against the Knicks and Hawks continue a tough stretch for the team. The Bucks have lost six of their last ten games and slid down to the sixth seed. Can the Bucks show that the Hawks game was just a Murphy’s Law type of game, or will they be able to stop the slide against a struggling team?
There are a lot of similarities between Phoenix and Milwaukee. Both teams have two star players that gave fans optimism. Both teams have a star injured, have underachieved, and feel the coach is the problem. The Suns are trying to claw their way into a play-in game spot and will need to end their three-game losing streak to move in the right direction.
Injury Report
The Bucks will not have Lillard, Sims, and Bobby tonight. Giannis is listed as probable, while AJ Green is listed as questionable.
The Suns will not have Kevin Durant, who has a left ankle sprain. Bradley Beal is listed as questionable.
Player To Watch
Kyle Kuzma started the Hawks game as well as one could ask, shooting 6/6 from the field. But the remainder of the game was a nightmare for him; he struggled defensively and only made two more field goals. With Lillard out, Milwaukee will need a much better performance from Kuzma tonight.
