When Kyle Kuzma arrived in Milwaukee, many fans thought he could be a key piece to a potential Bucks playoff run.
Prior to his three-and-a-half year stint with the Wizards, Kuzma was a big factor on the Lakers’ 2020 championship team. And he’s a long and versatile scorer that knows how to fill a role on a contender.
But that certainly wasn’t the case on Saturday when he logged 22 minutes as a starter with no stats to show for it (other than two personal fouls).

Folks quickly got on him about it on social media.
“Kyle Kuzma has the most minutes by a starter in a playoff game without recording a stat ever,” Real Sports said.
“It’s Easter, but Kyle Kuzma is hunting goose eggs,” StatMuse replied.
“Kyle Kuzma struggled in his first playoff game with the Bucks,” Yahoo Sports reported. “It’s only the SIXTH time in NBA history that a player recorded zero stats in over 20 minutes played.”
“Kyle kuzma has to be one of the worst players in the nba not even [BSing], a user commented.
“Kyle Kuzma is a great example of availability actually being the worst ability,” a fan posted.
“Go outside, get some fresh air or go watch Sinners Staying in your crib watching Kyle Kuzma play basketball is unhealthy.”
“Khris Middleton’s rotting carcass would be better than Kyle Kuzma,” another person joked.
“If you’re reading this you have the same stat line as Kyle Kuzma today.”
It’s hard to imagine a worse Game 1 performance by the former LA/D.C. standout. If the Bucks have any hopes of tying things up with Damian Lillard on the floor they’re going to need a lot more from Kuz.
He’ll get his next shot April 22 at 7 PM on NBATV.
