The Milwaukee Bucks will reportedly be without their two best players in Sunday’s pivotal Game 4 matchup vs. the Pacers.
According to Bleacher Report, both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard have both been ruled out for tonight’s game as the Bucks trail 2-1 on the road.
After winning the first contest, Milwaukee has dropped back-to-back games including a three-point OT loss on Friday night.
Damian Lillard re-aggravated an Achilles injury late in the fourth quarter of that game and was seen in a walking boot the next day. While Antetokounmpo hasn’t played since straining his left calf back on April 9.
The 33-year-old Lillard had been averaging 32.3 points, 5.3 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals over the first few games of the series and now the Bucks will need even more from the likes of Khris Middleton, Bobby Portis and others.
As for the Pacers, Pascal Siakam had been carrying the team’s offense but Indiana got a huge performance out of big man Myles Turner in Game 3 when he posted 29 points and nine boards to lead the way for Indy.
Point guard Tyrese Haliburton is still trying to find his shot but he’s kept plenty busy stuffing the stat sheet with assists and rebounds over the first few games.
The Central Division rivals will tip off at 7 PM ET on TNT. A win tonight would give the Pacers a commanding lead with a potential closeout game on Tuesday.
