Fans like the NBA Cup but are also in favor of adding more incentives
In this week’s Tuesday Tracker, we asked you about the state of the NBA Cup and how the Bucks’ performance therein could be meaningful for the team. We also talked about Khris Middleton’s rest of season outlook. Here are the highlights:
- Interestingly, there was a clean 60/40 split among our respondents about how the group play games compare to normal regular season games. Compared to last year, 5% more felt the games were no different.
- 81% of fans polled feel the NBA Cup needs changes, a similar figure to last year, and 71% of them would like to see incentives for the winning team—such as a draft pick—compared to 36% who wanted that particular change a year ago.
- Nevertheless, a broad majority of 86% feel the Cup should remain in some state.
- Most of our respondents (67%) think Khris Middleton will play in between 40 and 50 games the rest of the way.
- Doc Rivers’ approval rating jumped 5% this week while Jon Horst’s jumped 3%, and for the first time this year, more respondents feel that the Bucks can win the title as opposed to those who cannot.
Thanks again for voting! Check back on Tuesday for another slate of questions.
