A majority of fans polled would favor firing Doc Rivers if things don’t improve by Christmas
In this week’s Tuesday Tracker, we asked you about what you expect from the Bucks as their schedule eases for the rest of November, Andre Jackson Jr. in the starting lineup, and Doc Rivers’ job security (that’s right, Kyle Carr: Doc Watch might be a thing). Here are the highlights:
- Over half of respondents predict a 6-13 or 7-12 record by the end of the month, meaning many fans were expecting a 4-5 or 5-4 stretch ahead prior to Tuesday’s game (the Bucks are 2-0 since the poll went live).
- Almost exactly half think it’s possible the Bucks could still get to 50 wins, but aren’t banking on it, while 42% think it won’t happen.
- 87% want Andre Jackson Jr. to remain a starter, and 46% of those who feel that way would keep him in the starting lineup over Gary Trent even upon Khris Middleton’s return.
- Somewhat surprisingly, 46% of fans polled would keep Doc Rivers if the Bucks don’t have a winning record around the holidays, meaning the majority would be fine with the franchise paying three head coaches again.
- Rivers’ and Jon Horst’s approval ratings remain similarly unchanged from a week ago, as does pessimism about the current roster’s title chances.
Thanks again for voting! Check back on Tuesday for another slate of questions.
