Fans want Portis traded and are optimistic about Middleton’s return
Editor’s note: apologies for not getting this up on Friday! The Thursday-Friday B2B jostled everything around. All of these results are from last Tuesday afternoon through Friday morning, right after the Jazz win.
In this week’s Tuesday Tracker, we asked you about the Bucks’ eventual playoff seed, a potential Bobby Portis trade, and some ideas for the rotation. Here are the highlights:
- Despite their bad start, 55% of fans surveyed believe the Bucks will still earn a top-six seed in the East. Only 16% think they’ll miss the playoffs.
- 70% of respondents think Bobby Portis should be traded, and 61% of them want it ASAP.
- Khris Middleton hopefully returns to the floor soon, and 73% of those polled think he will solve at least some of the team’s problems, but most of them think only the offensive ones.
- There is strong support for AJ Green and Andre Jackson Jr.—who joined the starting lineup on Thursday—to keep getting minutes, with 67% of those polled wanting those two to take playing time from Portis and Taurean Prince.
- A slight majority (51%) found their outlook on the Bucks improved after narrow losses to the Cavs a week ago.
- Three-quarters of fans asked feel the Bucks cannot win a title as currently composed, and 71% disapprove of Doc Rivers’ performance, unchanged and slightly higher than the first week of polling, respectively.
Thanks again for voting! Check back tomorrow for another slate of questions.
