The Milwaukee Bucks are set to sign Greg Monroe to a 10-day contract. The veteran center previously played for the Minnesota Timberwolves and Washington Wizards on hardship 10-day deals this season.
In five games with the Wolves and Wizards, Monroe averaged 5.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.4 assists and one block in 16.2 minutes per game.
This will be Monroe’s second go-around with the Bucks. He previously played for Milwaukee from 2015 to 2017.
In 18 games with the Capital City Go-Go of the G League, Monroe has averaged 11.9 points, 9.1 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.1 blocks in 23.5 minutes per game.
Prior to splitting this season between the NBA and G League, Monroe had spent two years playing in Germany and Russia. The nine-year veteran returned stateside this past offseason.
