The Milwaukee Bucks are canvasing the NBA in search of a trade that will help jumpstart their slow start to the season, sources tell ESPN. The Bucks have started the season 2-6 with their only wins coming on opening night against a depleted Philadelphia 76ers team and against the rebuilding Utah Jazz.
Khris Middleton has remained out as he recovers from offseason ankle surgeries.
The Bucks are in the second apron, which prohibits them from aggregating salaries as well as taking back more money than they send out. The Bucks have also don’t have control of any their next six first round picks.
“The second apron coming in now really hamstrings them,” a rival general manager told ESPN. “They’re doing due diligence trying to find options, but of course they know it.”
