In celebration of his ninth All-Star appearance, the Bucks+ team does a deep dive
In honor of Damian Lillard’s return to the Bay Area (his hometown is Oakland, of course) for the 2025 NBA All-Star Game, the team at Bucks+ released the first in a four-part series on Damian Lillard and his transition to Milwaukee. You can view the trailer below:
It’s being narrated by Lillard’s longtime friend (and cousin of Giannis’ wife), Chris Haynes. On Tuesday, episode one dropped. It’s chock full of interviews, ranging from Lillard’s childhood best friend and teammate, his father Houston, and his former head coach at Weber State, Randy Rahe. Cool to hear about his recruiting process and also the kind of work ethic related to us by his trainer from Dame’s college days:
And for some bonus content, Haynes dropped by Hear District with Marques and Kris Johnson to talk about his relationship with Dame, as well as some fun basketball talk. Stick around to hear about our friend Kris’ run-in with some pro wrestlers backstage at the old Oracle Arena! The Johnsons also break down some Kyle Kuzma and Kevin Porter Jr. footage later on:
Finally, Gale Klappa sat down this week with Bucks president Peter Feigin on Courtside:
