As the Milwaukee Bucks prepared for the 2024 NBA Summer League on Friday afternoon, there was a familiar face in the crowd of players getting shots up after the team’s first practice. For a third straight summer, MarJon Beauchamp, the Bucks’ 2022 first-round selection (No. 24), will be suiting up again as the team tips off in summer league action on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. CT against the Chicago Bulls. “I asked (Bucks coach Doc Rivers) and he said he wanted me to play two games and it’s up to me after that,” Beauchamp told The Athletic on Friday. “But really, I just want to do whatever’s going to help me get on the court next year. So I’m sacrificing and I feel like I just need to go out there and be me, of course, and just show that I can guard and make open shots and just be able to play.”
