Brewers look to keep the winning going with Brandon Woodruff making his spring debut
The Milwaukee Brewers are back in action in Phoenix today as they welcome the Cleveland Guardians with Brandon Woodruff on the bump.
Woodruff, 32, hasn’t appeared in a game for the Brewers since the end of the 2023 season, and today’s start marks his spring training debut for the Crew as he makes his way back from shoulder surgery. Behind Woodruff, José Quintana, Deivi García, and Elvis Peguero are also slated to pitch.
In the lineup, the Brewers have a pretty even mix of starters and players competing for roster spots. Sal Frelick leads things off in center field, followed by Jackson Chourio in right and Christian Yelich in left. William Contreras bats cleanup and Rhys Hoskins bats fifth as the DH. Mark Canha, Vinny Capra, Caleb Durbin, and Andruw Monasterio round out the lineup and the infield.
This one is available on FanDuel Sports Network and the Brewers Radio Network. First pitch is set for 3:10 p.m.
And good afternoon
