The Milwaukee Brewers continue Cactus League action on Friday afternoon in Arizona, as they return to their spring home in Phoenix to take on the San Diego Padres.
Bryan Hudson gets the start for the Crew as manager Pat Murphy rolls with an adjusted lineup due to the cold, soggy weather — it’s 50 degrees with a chance of rain for the next few hours. Brice Turang bats leadoff at second base, followed by Joey Ortiz. After the initial lineup had Jackson Chourio and Christian Yelich, Isaac Collins and Brewer Hicklen will take their places in the updated lineup. Rhys Hoskins is the DH while Tyler Black starts at first base.
Following Hudson, the Brewers will also deploy Easton McGee and Tyler Jay, who was moved to minor league camp earlier today. Opposing the Brewers will be left-hander Kyle Hart, as Yu Darvish’s start was scratched due to the weather.
First pitch is set for 2:10 p.m. and the game will be broadcasted on the radio via MLB.com.
