First pitch is set for 4:32 p.m. at American Family Field
The Milwaukee Brewers are set to welcome the New York Mets to American Family Field for a best-of-three series beginning Tuesday evening.
In game one, the Brewers are expected to send ace Freddy Peralta to the bump to take on a tough Mets lineup. The game, which is scheduled to have first pitch at 4:32 p.m. CT, will be aired on ESPN and the radio via the Brewers Radio Network and nationally on ESPN Radio.
This marks the first appearance for the Brewers on ESPN this season, as they were not featured on any Sunday Night Baseball broadcasts this year. All four wild card games scheduled for Tuesday will be aired on national TV, with the Tigers-Astros game (1:32 p.m.) airing on ABC, the Royals-Orioles game (3:08 p.m.) airing on ESPN 2, and the Braves-Padres game (7:38 p.m.) airing on ESPN after the Brewers’ game.
The Brewers have had a rough go in the postseason in recent seasons, winning just one game since their 2018 NLCS appearance, dropping four “series” — the 2019 NL Wild Card Game, the 2020 NL Wild Card Series, the 2021 NL Wild Card Series, and the 2023 NL Wild Card Series — for an overall record of 1-8.
This season against the Mets, they’ve won five of six, sweeping the Mets in New York to open the season before winning two of three over the past weekend at home. They’ll look to continue that success at American Family Field this week.
Be sure to catch the Brewers on ESPN Tuesday evening as they look to turn around their recent playoff fortunes.
