The Brewers try to avoid being swept this afternoon
It’s been a letdown for the Brewers following the postseason clinch. In this series against the Diamondbacks, over 27 innings, the Brewers have scored in just two of them. The Brewers need to get that offense going again, and they’ll have one more chance against the Diamondbacks this afternoon.
Frankie Montas will get the start for the Brewers today. He’s coming off of a loss to the Phillies, where he allowed three runs in 5 2⁄3 innings. His strikeout totals over his last three games have been impressive, collecting 28 in 17 2⁄3 innings. Opposing him is Jordan Montgomery, who is making his second start back in the rotation after being used as a long reliever for a few games.
The lineup is loaded with right-handed hitters to face the left-handed pitcher. Here are the full lineups for today. First pitch is set for 1:10 p.m. on Bally Sports Wisconsin and the Brewers Radio Network.
