Labor Day baseball in Milwaukee
It’s Labor Day and the Brewers are back in Milwaukee. The Cardinals are in town and the Brewers are starting the series with a holiday afternoon game.
Freddy Peralta is on the mound and is looking to continue his success after his last start. He’s coming off of a six-scoreless-inning start against the Giants on Wednesday. This is his fourth start against the Cardinals this season. Two of these starts were scoreless starts, while the third was a quality start (though barely at exactly 6 IP, 3 ER).
Jake Bauers is in the lineup today as the designated hitter, batting fourth. Rhys Hoskins is at first base batting seventh. Most of the regulars are in the lineup as well, with Willy Adames batting fifth on his birthday.
Here are the full lineups for today. First pitch is at 1:10 p.m. on Bally Sports Wisconsin and the Brewers Radio Network.
