The Brewers begin a three-game series against the Cardinals
The Brewers begin a six-game road trip tonight in St. Louis and a stretch of 10 road games over the next 13 games. With six of those games against NL Central teams, the Brewers can deal the final blow for the division in these two weeks.
Prior to tonight’s game, the Brewers made a roster move. They reinstated Trevor Megill from the IL, and optioned Elvis Peguero to Triple-A. Megill will add another strong arm to the Brewers’ deep bullpen.
Tonight’s lineup has become a more standard lineup for the Brewers. Brice Turang and Jackson Chourio are taking their usual spots at the top of the lineup, with William Contreras and Willy Adames in the four & five spots. Sal Frelick and Joey Ortiz are at the bottom of the lineup as usual. Garrett Mitchell bats third and Tyler Black is in the lineup as the DH.
First pitch is at 6:45 p.m. and the game will be on Bally Sports Wisconsin and the Brewers Radio Network.
