The farm system continues to be an area of strength for the Brewers organization
One of the major prospect ranking organizations, Baseball Prospectus, released their Top 101 Prospects of 2025 list this morning and four Brewers prospects found themselves in the top 65:
- IF Jesus Made – No. 35
- C Jeferson Quero – No. 61
- SS Cooper Pratt – No. 63
- RHP Jacob Misiorowski – No. 65
Both Quero and Misiorowski appeared on last year’s list as the No. 38 and No. 63 ranked prospects, respectively. Made and Pratt, the Brewers’ 2024 co-Minor League Players of the Year, are both appearing on this list for the first time. Let’s take a look at each of these players and what we should expect from them in 2025.

Jesus Made
Signed at the age of 16 during last year’s international signing period (the 2025 period begins tomorrow, January 15), Made (pronounced MAH-day) played the entire 2024 season in the Dominican Summer League (DSL) and absolutely dominated the competition. Made posted a slash line of .331/.458/.551 while stealing 28 bases in 51 games. Perhaps the most exciting aspect of his 2024 season was the plate discipline that he showed. He drew 39 walks last season while striking out just 28 times, looking more like an experienced veteran hitter than a 17-year-old prospect. Made’s success in the DSL mirrors that of former top international singings Jackson Chourio, Luis Lara, and Yophery Rodriguez. Each of these players capitalized on standout performances in the DSL, skipping the Arizona Complex League (ACL) and jumping right to Low-A before the age of 20. Expect Made to do the same this next year and open the season with the Carolina Mudcats.
Jeferson Quero
After winning a minor league Gold Glove and hitting a solid .262/.339/.440 at Double-A Biloxi in 2023, Quero looked primed to make his big-league debut in 2024. However, a torn labrum and dislocated shoulder in the first game of his 2024 season resulted in season-ending surgery. The Brewers are hoping Quero’s stellar defense and throwing arm are not affected too severely by his lost 2024 season. Quero does hold a spot on the 40-man roster but look for him to start the year in Triple-A Nashville where he will receive everyday at-bats and continue his recovery process. If all goes well in Nashville, expect Quero to make his MLB debut at some point during the 2025 season.
Cooper Pratt
The Brewers drafted Pratt in the sixth round of the 2023 draft, prying him away from Ole Miss with an offer that he couldn’t refuse. After a year and a half, that decision has paid off for both Pratt and the Brewers. After just 12 games at the Rookie level in 2023 after the draft, Pratt was assigned to Low-A to start the 2024 season. He earned another promotion to High-A before the season was finished and even joined Double-A Biloxi for the playoffs. Ultimately, Pratt slashed .277/.362/.406 in 2024 all while earning a minor league Gold Glove at shortstop. Pratt will likely start the year in Double-A Biloxi, which will be a good test for the 20-year-old.
Jacob Misiorowski
Many fans thought they were going to see Misiorowski in the big-league bullpen by the end of the 2024 season. However, command struggles ultimately delayed his MLB debut to 2025. Misiorowski’s arsenal consists of a rising fastball that can touch 102 mph, a low-90s slider that acts more like a cutter, and a curveball that he has developed during his time in the minor leagues. The curveball became his main secondary pitch in 2024, throwing it 28.5% of the time and generating a whiff rate of 41%. His electric stuff results in high strikeout numbers, but Misiorowski’s success in the big leagues will ultimately be determined by his ability to find the zone. Look for him to start the year in Triple-A Nashville with a promotion to MLB coming (likely) in the first half of the 2025 season.
Note: Jarrett Seidler, co-author of the Baseball Prospectus Top 101 prospects of 2025 list, has been busy on X answering fan questions regarding prospects who were left off of the list. In one response, Seidler noted that Brewers prospect Mike Boeve just barely missed the list and will be included in BP’s “next 10 prospects.” For a profile on Boeve, check out our earlier article “Who will be the Brewers long-term solution at first base?”
