Top Hitting Performance of the Week
The Brewers had a rough week offensively, but Jackson Chourio keeps providing the boom. He picked up two homers and three doubles (tied for a team-high five hits), six RBIs, and three runs scored while also walking seven times for a solid .250/.444/.700 line across 20 at-bats. He also put himself just one homer away from a 20-20 season at age 20.
Injury Notes & Roster Moves
- It was another quiet week on the roster front, with most of the moves coming to start off the homestand last week. Reliever Hoby Milner was activated from the 15-day injured list and reliever Elvis Peguero was recalled from Triple-A Nashville ahead of the series opener with St. Louis on Tuesday. Reliever Bryan Hudson was optioned to Nashville and starter/reliever Bryse Wilson was placed on the injured list with a right oblique strain in a pair of corresponding moves.
- Reliever Enoli Paredes moved back to Triple-A Nashville on Tuesday to continue his rehab assignment with the Sounds.
- Outfielder Brewer Hicklen was optioned to Triple-A ahead of Sunday’s series finale with the Rockies, as outfielder Isaac Collins was selected from Nashville for his MLB debut, picking up his first career hit and stolen base in the loss to Colorado. Christian Yelich, who is already out for the season after back surgery, was moved to the 60-day injured list to make room for Collins on the 40-man roster.
