Top Pitching Performance of the Week
This week had two very similar pitching performances, though one came out slightly better than the other. On Saturday, Tobias Myers pitched a gem in a pitchers’ duel, going 7 1⁄3 scoreless innings with just three hits allowed and nine strikeouts. It was a needed performance in a game with a 1-0 result. Honorable mention goes to Colin Rea, who was a very close second. He pitched seven scoreless innings on Tuesday, allowing just five hits and one walk while also striking out nine.
Top Hitting Performance of the Week
In a week where the Brewers scored 46 runs, there’s plenty of options for good hitting performances. However, there’s one standout performance above all of those. Willy Adames had a great week. Over six games, he batted .348/.400/.913, hit four home runs, and drove in nine. That includes a two home-run game on Tuesday with four hits.
Injury Notes & Roster Moves
- It was a quiet week for the roster. The only roster moves came on Sunday. DL Hall was reinstated from the 60-day IL and made the start that day. To clear roster space, Hoby Milner was placed on the 15-day IL with a left shoulder impingement. Enoli Paredes was also transferred to the 60-day IL.
- The Brewers expect to get Bryan Hudson back today. He made three minor league appearances, with his last one on Saturday. Everything went well and he’s expected to be activated for the Dodgers series.
- Rob Zastryzny began a minor league rehab assignment with Nashville on Friday. He pitched a scoreless inning, allowing one hit and two walks while striking out one.
- Trevor Megill is scheduled to throw live batting practice on Monday and begin a rehab assignment this week.
