Ten regular season games and three spring training games to be simulcast on several over-the-air stations across Wisconsin
On Jackson Chourio’s 21st birthday, it is Brewers fans who are receiving a gift. The Brewers announced today that three spring training games and 10 regular season games will be aired on several over-the-air stations across Wisconsin. For example, Milwaukee-based Brewers fans will be able to watch a handful of games on WITI FOX6. The rest of the affiliates that have signed on to air these select games so far are as follows:
• Madison: WISC-TV, TVW
• La Crosse-Eau Claire: WKBT-TV
• Duluth-Superior: KDLH-TV, KBJR-TV
• Wausau-Rhinelander: WSAW-TV, WZAW-LD, WYOW
More affiliates are expected to be added shortly, expanding the coverage to several other markets throughout Wisconsin.
The development is thanks to a partnership with Good Karma Brands, a Milwaukee-based media and marketing company that focuses on “leveraging the power of national and local sports, and local news to build brands and connect with fans through audio, video, digital and events,” according to the company’s website.
About the deal, Brewers’ president of business operations Rick Schlesinger said, “Offering access to Brewers games and showcasing our players to as broad of an audience as possible is a high priority for us. This partnership with Good Karma Brands, in conjunction with FanDuel Sports Network, FOX6 and the affiliates network gives us great reach to fans throughout the television territory. Fans can now watch through a number of offerings, including cable or satellite, local TV, streaming through the FanDuel Sports Network app, and out-of-market on MLB.TV and MLB Extra Innings. We appreciate the efforts of FanDuel Sports Network in expanding the reach of Brewers baseball on this over-the-air platform.”
